In a time of kings, God uses prophets to keep reminding the kings and people of the lessons they learned in the wilderness. It continues to be a challenge to be different than Pharoah's Egypt, and Ceasar's Empire. The first video is more of a summary of the Books of the Prophets, and the second is about the Prophet Isaiah.
*Read along in Whirl Kids Story Bible pages 94-97 to learn about the prophets Elijah and Elisha as well..
Students/Parents
This first video connects with "Yahweh Sends Prophets (pages 23-26).
The second video shares a song with lyrics from the prophet Elijah.
The prophets are such a major part of the Bible, and Jesus probably connects more with the identity of a prophet than a priest or king.
