This is one of the most epic and foundational stories in the Bible, and especially the Hebrew ("Old") Testament. It is a reminder that not only is God with us, but that God is with everyone, and God will not choose the rich and wealthy over the poor and oppressed. How is God helping the poor and oppressed today? Who is God using, as standing up to powerful people is not easy!?

Chpt. 2 "God Births a People" in Manna and Mercy
In this first video, Alan Storey talks about the impact and significance of Pyramids in our society.
Here's the complete series if you'd like to watch other clips that fill in the gaps since last week.
The second video includes the idea that "Pharoah is not a god, nor a monster - he's just a human being who has forgot what it means to be human being." How do we view our "enemies," and what do we hope for people who have harmed us? This is an ongoing question I continue to wrestle with.
Here's a link to more BimBam videos that fill in the gaps since last week.
