Ash Wednesday
Lent is a season of journey – from Ash Wednesday to Maundy Thursday to Good Friday and to Easter Sunday. This Ash Wednesday, we will journey with Jesus to the wilderness, preparing for what will be ahead of him. Join us for this special Ash Wednesday service on March 2nd at 7:00p.m. MST in hybrid worship in person at our Montview campus (5209 Montview Blvd) or online via YouTube and Facebook. We’ll receive the ashes in the sign of a cross. Those worshiping at home can do so with oil. Let us begin our journey together on Ash Wednesday.
Lent is a spiritual journey that followers of Jesus have taken for nearly 2,000 years. We often focus on spiritual disciplines that help shape us into the image of Jesus. There are other traditions as well that help us on our journey. Beginning Ash Wednesday, March 2, and continuing on Sundays, March 6 - April 3, we will journey with Jesus through the Holy Land using the Gospel of Matthew. Each stop on the journey will teach us about ourselves and about Jesus. We hope that this Lenten Worship Series will help you center yourselves during this holy season.
We’ve developed a Lenten Devotional to use in conjunction with the worship services. Contact the church office if you need a copy.
Join us Ash Wednesday and Sundays at 10:00a.m. MST in hybrid worship in person at our Montview campus (5209 Montview Blvd) or online via YouTube and Facebook to journey with Jesus together.
