Kickoff Sunday!
Cafe Connections will hold their first class on Kickoff Sunday - Parenting Safe Children, led by Feather Berkower. Everyone is invited to meet with Feather at 10:00 AM in the Balcony Parlor. This interactive and informative session is a one-hour portion of her 3 1/2 hour Parenting Safe Children workshop. Feather Berkower is a 25-year veteran in child sexual abuse prevention. Her highly-regarded workshop empowers adults to keep children safe from sexual abuse.

Countdown to 100!
On Sunday, September 26 the Countdown continues with the Festival of Cultural Diversity, a fundraiser to benefit our Youth Programs, in Fellowship Hall, starting at 12:00 PM following the 11:00 Worship Service.
If you would like to attend but are unable to bring your favorite dish, the cost will be $5.00 for Adults (12 and over), and $2.50 for Children, with a $15.00 maximum per family.
We would love for all members and friends of PHUMC to share their recipes for any or all traditional dishes, which will be featured in our special 100th Anniversary Cookbook.

Mission Opportunities - How will YOU Make a Difference The Church Community Garden is growing fresh produce that will be used in the Agape and VOA Senior Resource Center meals in August and September. The fresh produce is available in the Coffee Bar between services - take what you would like and leave a donation. The money is used to fund our feeding programs, the Agape and VOA Senior Resource Center Meals every month.
Pantry - Food donations fur supporting AIDA, Greater Park Hill Community Center Food Bank and walk-ins at PHUMC. The pantry is the brown shelf in the Coffee Bar Area. Prison Ministry - Contact Yong Hui McDonald for information at 303-655-3311.
King Sooper & Safeway Gas & Gift Cards - Please purchase a gift card for yourself and others in the Coffee Bar. The cards are in denoninations of $100, $50 and $25. 5% from each gift card is applied to PHUMC's Mission Ministry.
